Columbus Public School hosted
an exciting workshop titled “The Chocolate-Making Experience” on 11 September 2025. The session was led by Ms Surabhi S. Khanna, Founder of the renowned Coco Tree - Chocolatier.
Around 50 students from Grade 5 onwards participated with great enthusiasm. Ms Khanna introduced them to the fascinating world of chocolate-making, explaining the selection of cocoa beans, blending techniques, balancing flavours, and shaping chocolates into attractive forms to achieve premium quality.
The workshop combined theory with hands-on practice, allowing students to create a variety of chocolates themselves. Crafting delicious and beautifully designed chocolates brought them immense joy and a sense of accomplishment.
The event was not only engaging and educational but also inspired creativity and boosted practical skills and confidence among the students.
