The sprawling play ground is a hallmark of Columbus Public School. CPS believes that children need physical activities as much as they need high academic achievements to ensure synchronous physical, emotional, intellectual and academic growth. Students get opportunity not only to play but excel in various sports such as Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Handball etc. Athletics is also given due importance.

The school also has a splash pool for the tiny tots where the kids can explore their swimming talent and learn the basics of the sport.
