Admission & Withdrawal Norms
ADMISSION
- The school is open for admission to both boys and girls. The school year begins in the month of April and ends in the month of March.
- Grant of permission for admission in any class is at the sole discretion of the School Management.
- Admission to any class is subject to vacancy existing in that particular class.
- The school generally does not entertain direct admissions to class X/ XII. However, allowances are made to entertain genuine transfer cases; subject to vacancy existing in that particular class.
- Registrations for Admission generally begin the month of January.
- The mode adapted for granting admission is at the sole discretion of the School Management. The right of accepting/rejecting admission to any child in the school is reserved with the School Management.
- The following documents must be mandatorily submitted while seeking admission:
- Passport Size Photographs
- Passport Size Joint Photograph (Child with Parents)
- Attested photocopy of Aadhar Card
- Child
- Mother
- Father
- Attested photocopy of the Report Card of the last class attended (for admission in class XI - photocopy of the High School Mark-Sheet issued by the board).
- Transfer Certificate (in original) obtained from the last school attended. TC must be duly countersigned in case the institute is not affiliated to CBSE.
- Attested photocopy of Date of Birth Certificate (obtained from competent government authorities).
- Attested photocopy of Caste Certificate (obtained from competent government authorities) – in case of NON-GEN category.
- In case of direct admission to class X/ XII - Registration Card issued by CBSE in class IX/ XI respectively.
- Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner stating that the child is physically/ mentally fit to attend school, and is not suffering from any serious illness or contagious or incurable disease.
- Admission to class XI: Admission to class XI & choice of subjects is purely provisional and is subject to the result of the Board Examinations conducted at the end of class X; adjudged by the marks obtained in the examination. Admission to class XI is stringently subject to the cut-off criterion set by the school; adjudged on the basis of the result as declared by the Board. A candidate cannot claim lien/right over either admission to class XI or choice of subjects to offer for study in class XI.
- Furnishing incomplete or wrong information or submitting forged/false documents will lead to immediate cancellation of the child's admission.
WITHDRAWAL
- Request for withdrawal must be made in writing to the Principal at least one month in advance from the date of seeking discontinuance of studies from the school.
- Mid-term withdrawals are not permitted. Parents seeking to withdraw their child in the middle of the session will be required to pay the fees of the entire academic session.
- Relaxation in withdrawal norms is however permitted, with permission of the School Management, in the case of job transfer of the parent(s) leading to relocation, or reasons beyond natural control.
- Such parents will have to pay the total fees till the month in which the application for T.C. is made or the month up to which the child continues studies in school; whichever is later. However, Annual Charges for the session have to be paid in full.
- T.C. will be issued only after all dues pending against the ward are cleared.
- T.C. will be issued only after at least 3 working days upon receiving the request for the same or the date of discontinuance of studies of the child, whichever is later.
- A child's name may be struck off the school rolls, on order of the Principal, on any of the following grounds:
- Instance of Indiscipline.
- Non-compliance to the school's Rules and Regulations.
- Regular absenteeism or remaining absent, without prior permission, for three continuous weeks.
- Being detained in the same class twice. A child will not be allowed to repeat the same class for the third time.
- Non-payment of Fees for three continuous months.
- Any reason whatsoever, at the discretion of the Principal, if such a step is found to be convincing in the interest of the school.
- student will be deemed to be on the school rolls till a withdrawal application has been received from the parent or the name has been struck off officially by order of the Principal.
