I am Gauri Gagneja, the Head girl of this prestigious institution, which has been my second home for the past 15 wonderful years and nurtured me into what I am today.

Albert Schweitzer once said, "Example is not the main thing in influencing others. It is the only thing." With this in mind, my primary goal as the head girl is to lead by example and to foster an environment where every Columbian can thrive. By embodying dedication and integrity, I strive to ignite a spirit of inspiration that resonates throughout our school and try setting a high standard of excellence. Our school is a treasure trove of opportunities, and I am committed to ensuring that each of us makes the most of them. With this, I want to see every seed growing in the garden called CPS and spreading positivity across the globe.

But remember, it is ultimately you who can turn your dreams into reality. Embrace your strengths and pursue your passions with confidence.

To my fellow schoolmates, I urge you to embrace curiosity and innovation. Don’t just think outside the box—reimagine the box entirely. Let’s challenge ourselves to explore uncharted territories in our academics, arts, sports, and beyond. Take risks, learn from failures, and celebrate successes, no matter how small.

Moreover, let us cultivate an atmosphere of empathy and respect. In a world that often feels divided, our unity is our strength. I Mansi Mishra feel privileged in being the head girl of the highly coveted school. I would like to thank the school management and teachers for entrusting me with this pious responsibility. I am humbled by the opportunity to lead such a talented and diverse community. Together, we possess immense potential to shape a future that is not only bright but also innovative, compassionate and inclusive. I hope that the students will be able to confide in me their problems and I will be able to guide them to a solution. I am enjoying the new phase of my life and I expect that there will be a lot many challenges and I am willing to face them.

I would urge Columbians to pursue their dreams and even if you fail sometimes you must not be wary as failure are the stepping stone to success. Columbus Public School provides so many opportunities and exposures to excel and achieve in all that the columbians do, along with the unforgettable experience. It is a second home for all the Columbians. And above all, it gives a platform for students to do better in life and also builds their personality.

I will always be indebted to my school for shaping my personality and teaching me valuable lessons. It has given me friends for life and teachers that I look up to. I aspire to carry on the values imbibed by my school to do well and make it proud.

Firstly, I would like to thank the management, teachers and students who found me capable of this post and appointed me as the head girl of the school, for me this opportunity brings a sense of pride and responsibility towards school.

Columbus public school provide each child the best way to refine and showcase their own talent. The school aims at providing holistic development which inspires us to explore horizons beyond academics.

Today, whatever I’m is the sum of all the past year which I spent in the surrounding. The support, guidance and loving nature of management and teachers helped me to overcome all my problems.

I, Harshdeep Kaur, the head girl of Columbus public school feel privileged as I pen my heart down.

Being elected as the leader of this prestigious institution is definitely an honour.

Being Cabinet head of this institution is a bliss, as this institution has shaped me . into what I am today & made me apt enough to achieve whatever I aspire to, . in the future.

I just have one advice for my fellow mater, for those who dream there is just one principle to live by, devotion. To succeed in your mission you must have single minded devotion to your goal. To conclude with, these are a few lines which define a leader with masterful artistry.

Patient & steady with all he must bear, Ready to meet every challenge with care, Easy in his faith, refreshingly real , is not afraid to people what is bold ,doesn’t conform to the usual mould. Eyes that have foresight.

Your dreams push you to try new things and that might mean that you may not succeed at first. But with determination, hard-work, and time; you eventually will.

I was actually quite a shy and quiet girl. I would have never believed if someone had told me that one day I would be appointed as the Head Girl of my school. Today, being the Head-Girl of a school such a Columbus is in itself special. This school is extraordinary because we at Columbus encourage each other to exercise our optimal potential. Our curriculum is not merely academic but strives to take advantage of every opportunity. At Columbus teachers are thoroughly supportive and constantly offering guidance. All the activities offered intent to take students out of their comfort zone and master new skills.

It is because of this school that I have changed and grown. I have become better.

Many people would perceive the role of the Head Girl as one with greater power over others. I differ to support. I see the role of a Head Girl as one of responsibility. Firstly, as a student leader, it becomes my responsibility to align student’s conduct and behavior with the principles and expectations of the school. Further, I look upon this position as opportunity to encourage fellow Columbians towards greater involvement in school activities; motivate them to use the platform of various opportunities provided by the school and participate with both zeal to learn and a spirit to excel. Also, while holding this coveted responsibility, I shall look forward to hear student’s views; lend them both an ear and a shoulder in order to fulfill my responsibility as a true leader.

My experiences at this institution have shaped me into what I am today and will help me to deal with the practical world in a more impressive and effective manner. I now don’t worry about burning bridges as Columbus has taught me to built bridges on my own.

At last I can only commit that I will give my best to keep up the honour of this responsibility bestowed upon me.
