In celebration of World Nature Conservation Day, Class 5 students of Columbus Public School organized a meaningful morning assembly on August 1st, 2025, dedicated to raising awareness about the vital importance of preserving our natural resources.
The assembly began with students presenting tokens of appreciation to the esteemed dignitaries in attendance. Our honourable Principal Sir planted a tree, inspiring everyone to take part in the noble cause of nature conservation.
The event unfolded with a motivational thought, a heartfelt poem, and a song celebrating nature, reinforcing the message of harmony between humans and the environment.
Students showcased a captivating skit-cum-dance, powerfully illustrating the consequences of deforestation and pollution, and the pressing need to protect our forests, wildlife, water, and air resources.
In closing, the Principal addressed the gathering with encouraging words, reminding everyone that "every small step counts" in our collective mission to save our Earth.
