Description:
Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world and a healthy competition is a great way to boost the confidence of the children.
Keeping all this in mind, the school organised an Interhouse storytelling competition for Classes I to V in two categories with the following themes-
sub-junior (Class 1&2) - moral story
and juniors category (Classes 3-5)-
• Class III: “उल्टा पुल्टा” (based on विलोम शब्द in Hindi)
• Class IV: “Money Matters” (related to mathematical concepts)
• Class V: “Time Machine” (based on English Tenses).
Children narrated their stories with moral ideas which revolved around their subject related themes.
Children used voice modulation, facial expressions, puppets, props to present their ideas and to connect with the audience.
The activity rejuvenated our kids with more confidence and a zeal to work harder in future. It also helped the listeners to learn moral values through the stories.
