Description:
The Interact Club of Columbus Public School recently organized a crucial awareness session for female students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, focusing on 'Adolescence Health and Menstrual Hygiene.' Esteemed gynaecologists, Dr. Anupama Ravi Futela and Dr. Shivkee, were invited as Keynote Speakers for the event.
The primary objective was to empower young girls with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges of adolescence, providing them with tools for a healthier transition into adulthood.
This session offered more than just information; it was an enriching experience that encouraged self-care, dismantled stigmas surrounding menstruation, and provided practical tips for menstrual hygiene. The overarching goal was to embrace a holistic approach to personal well-being.
The workshop acted as an insightful journey of self-discovery, delving into the intersection of physical and emotional health, unveiling the secrets of a healthy adolescence.
