We were honoured to host an insightful awareness session on 17th Nov '23, led by Ms. Vyoma Jain, District Child Protection Officer (Udham Singh Nagar). The session focused on educating our students about the crucial ‘Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act’ and juvenile rights.
Ms. Vyoma passionately delved into the key provisions of the POCSO Act, shedding light on the definition of sexual offences against children, reporting mechanisms, and the role of the legal system in ensuring justice for victims.
The interactive session provided a platform for students to ask questions and seek clarifications on the legal and procedural aspects of child protection and juvenile rights.
