Description:
Dussehra or Vijayadashami, in Hinduism, marks the triumph of Rama, over the 10-headed demon king Rawan. The name of the festival is derived from the Sanskrit words Dasha (“ten”) and hara (“defeat”). symbolising the victory of good over evil.
On 21 Oct 2023, the students of Grade V conducted a special assembly on the occasion with a variety of performances by groups of students.
To conclude, our honourable Managing Director, Mr Manoj Khera addressed the gathering, reiterating the values that accompany the festival. He heartily appreciated the participants and their teachers for their spontaneous efforts at putting together a meaningful show.
Here is a glimpse of the assembly.
