Interact, a vibrant club for youth aged 12-18, has found its roots at Columbus Public School, providing a platform for young minds to unite in the spirit of service and global understanding. Governed independently with guidance from Rotary clubs, Interact empowers its members to lead and support initiatives.
On the momentous day of October 31, 2023, our school became witness to history as the Interact Club of Columbus Public School was officially launched. The Inaugural Installation Ceremony ushered in a new era, marked by the induction of our dedicated office bearers.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to all attendees. The opening address not only encapsulated the essence of the ceremony but also underscored the club's mission: nurturing the spirit of service and leadership among students.
A pivotal moment of the event was the presentation of badges and sashes to the newly appointed office bearers, who then took the oath of office. The celebration was elevated with captivating dance and music performances by the Columbians, adding a touch of artistry to the occasion.
We were honored to have Rtn Anil Joshi (Committee Chair, District Interact Club) as the Chief Guest and Rtn Hemant Singhal (President, Rotary Club, Rudrapur) as the Guest of Honour. The presence of esteemed individuals, including Rtn Sumeet Singh Behl, Rtn Chanchalpreet Singh, Rtn Jagdish Singh Bisht, Itr. Maulik Kakkar, and Itr. Lakshay Banga, further enriched the event.
