Description:
The objective of this activity was to introduce children to different types of fruits and help them learn about their colors, texture, and nutritional benefits. Fruits are an essential part of a healthy lifestyle as they are delicious and nutritious, being a great source of vitamins, minerals, fibers, and antioxidants.
On May 10th, 2023, the children of UKG participated in a PBL (Project-Based Learning) activity to learn about fruits. The activity began with the children introducing and explaining the nutritional benefits of fruits.
To further enhance their learning experience, the teachers created a fruit stall for the children to learn about buying and selling fruits. The children interacted with the shopkeeper and were very excited to buy fresh fruits. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about the practical aspects of commerce, and the social skills required when buying or selling something.
Such hands-on learning can be very effective in helping children develop their practical and social skills. The activity was enjoyable and engaging, and the children had great fun while learning about the various types of fruits.
Overall, this activity was an excellent way to introduce children to the world of fruits and their benefits.
