Description:
Columbus Public School hosted a one-day workshop on National Education Policy 2020, organised by Centre of Excellence for Teachers, CBSE on 19 January 2024. Mrs. Shikha Gautam (CBSE City Coordinator, Kashipur) was the key resource person.
The workshop kicked off with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Kamesh Mittal (Vice Principal) who also had the honour of formally introducing Mrs. Shikha Gautam. Dr. Mittal graciously acknowledged her expertise and substantial contributions to the educational landscape. Adding a melodic touch to the ambience, our talented students from the school choir presented a delightful welcome song that set the tone for the day's enlightening proceedings.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Khera, our dynamic Managing Director, took the stage for the opening address, injecting enthusiasm and setting the momentum for the day. He shed light on key aspects of the National Education Policy 2020, urging all delegates to actively engage and participate in the workshop.
The primary objective of the workshop was to cultivate a comprehensive understanding among educators about the key features, objectives, and implications of the NEP 2020. Throughout the day, participants were engaged in insightful discussions and interactive sessions, fostering an environment of shared learning and collaboration.
As the workshop concluded successfully, Principal Mr. Manoj Kumar expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Mrs. Shikha Gautam, as well as the delegates from schools around the district who actively participated in the workshop.
