The young Columbians of Class III have performed "Pottery Clay Activity" as part of their Experiential Learning and Art Integration in EVS.
The activity was organised to guide them and open up the wings of their imaginations. It was a full of fun activity, thoroughly enjoyed by every student.
Through this activity students learnt about the ceramic history, the cultural influences of pottery, and how clay is a natural resource that is made from Earth.
The students became aware of the process of pottery making by thoughtfully designing a clay pot using tactile skills. They also became aware of the different design elements that are used in making pottery.
