Description:
The school began the new academic session 2025–'26 with a vibrant and heartwarming Welcome Assembly held on the school grounds. The atmosphere was filled with energy and enthusiasm as Columbians gathered to mark the beginning of a new academic year.
The programme commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by Mr Manoj Kumar Khera (Managing Director), Mr Manoj Kumar (Principal), and Dr Kamesh Mittal (Vice Principal). This was followed by a warm and cheerful welcome address delivered by Ms Priya Arora & Ms Neha Rawal from our English faculty. A school prayer then brought everyone together in gratitude, invoking blessings for a fruitful year ahead.
The assembly featured thoughtful reflections by Ms Monika Chhabra (PGT Chemistry) and news updates from Mr Ankit Kumar (PGT Physics), ensuring everyone was well-informed and aligned with the school’s plans. A heartfelt, self-composed poem recited by Ms Babita Singh (PRT Hindi) beautifully captured the spirit of new beginnings.
Adding colour and creativity to the event, our multi-talented faculty members further delivered a series of engaging performances, including a soulful song, an entertaining skit, and an energetic dance, much to the delight of the audience. The programme also featured a motivational story narrated by Ms Chitra (PGT Psychology), which left the audience uplifted and inspired.
In his address, Hon'ble Managing Director shared his inspiring vision for the upcoming year and urged students to stay focused, work hard, and pursue excellence in all they do.
